Meet Our Team
Sonja Stenmark
I work as research engineer and lab manager. I enjoy helping people, riding snowmobile, playing cards and fishing. The worst with this job is to see the scale covered in unknown powder and to lose my fellow work comrades. Luckily new equally nice ones keep coming
Namrata Chaudhari
I am exploring a highly conserved 5’ to 3’ ssDNA unwinding helicase PIF1 (petite integration frequency 1) known to safeguard nuclear and mitochondrial DNA integrity. Here, my research focuses on identifying PIF1 mediated regulatory mechanisms involved in maintaining genome stability.
Josefin Forslund
I am investigating the biological role and consequences of misincorporation of wrong building blocks, so called ribonucleotides, into DNA. I am especially interested in manipulating ribonucleotide levels in the mitochondrial DNA and study the effect on proteins involved in mitochondrial DNA replication.

My name is Andi, I am from Austria and currently I am working on PolDIP2. In my free time I do a lot of climbing, especially bouldering, and I love to be in the mountains hiking and ski touring.
